FAQS
CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture. It's a business/farming model where the consumer has a part in the success of the farm. The customer becomes a member of the CSA. The membership fee paid up front helps cover the costs of running the farm: seeds, plants, saplings, labor, fuel, etc. In return, the member gets a weekly box of the harvest share at a discounted price for the 30 weeks of harvest.
Membership costs $1200. That comes out to $40/week for the 30 weeks of fresh produce. Considering the cost of conventional produce, this is a great deal--Local, sustainably, and regeneratively farmed produce. (There is a processing fee if you choose to pay online with a card--You can also mail in a check (or cash) with your application to the farm address, or make arrangements to drop off your application (please text/email to schedule a time)
